Bila Tserkva Industrial Park chose management company and approved the development plan

Bila Tserkva and Bila Tserkva 2 Industrial Parks have the total area of more than 70 hectares, with well-equipped engineering infrastructure and friendly business environment that are aimed at attraction direct investment in industrial and logistics real estate, expansion of the city’s economic clusters, creation more than three dozen new productions and more than 4,000 new ‘permanent’ jobs.

Kyiv, May 27, 2020. — The Bila Tserkva Industrial Park (IP) has approved the development plan.

According to our estimates, by 2026 should be created more than four thousand jobs, built 235,000 sq. m of industrial real estate, including production and logistics facilities on the territory of two industrial parks. The total investments volume should reach USD 250 mln,» Volodymyr Khmurych, CEO of Bila Tserkva IP, said.

The investments will be routed to construction of new commercial buildings, purchase of new production and logistics equipment, outfit of existing facilities, business processes automatization and certification, R&D that will contribute to the development of innovations and the implementation of best industry practices. Also, energy-saving projects and IT projects are considered as investment-attractive.

Turning to the issue of staffing for enterprises Volodymyr Khmurych clarified that to manufacture of high value-added products and their components qualified specialists are needed.

There are more than dozen educational institutions, including eight technical and vocational schools, and five higher education institutions and their branches in Bila Tserkva. We cooperate with all of them and believe that skilled labor market proximity is one of the competitive advantages of the industrial parks,» Andriy Ropitskiy, Head of Business Development of Industrial Park Management LLC (IPM), goes on.

The IPM has won bid for management company of Bila Tserkva and Bila Tserkva 2 Industrial Parks. On May 06, 2020, a cooperation agreements were signed between the management company and industrial parks. According to the terms of the contracts, the managing company ensures implementation of the development strategies and business plans of the industrial parks, attracts residents, carries out marketing programs, obtains permissions and approvals from state and local authorities related to industrial park and residents utilities and facilities design and construction.

Many large manufacturing companies are facing supply chain shocks and production disruptions. Also, it provides brokerage and due diligence services of industrial and logistics (warehouse) real estate. Bila Tserkva Industrial Park becomes participant of the Global Eco-Industrial Parks Programme in Ukraine

The Global Eco-Industrial Parks Programme aims to increase the productivity of natural resource use and reduce the intensity of environmental pollution from enterprise activities.

Kyiv, February 27, 2020. — Bila Tserkva Industrial Park has become a participant of the Global Eco-Industrial Parks Programme (GEIPP) in Ukraine. The program is initiated by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO). Participation in the GEIPP will provide benefits to the residents of the industrial park from the experience of leading companies and implementation of world practices in the areas of environmental friendliness, energy efficiency and sustainable development. This will result in companies’ improvement of competitiveness and access to new markets as well as meeting of consumer needs of environmentally safe goods and services.

The Global Eco-Industrial Parks Programme (GEIPP) in Developing and Transition Countries is being implemented by UNIDO with funding from the Swiss Government. Currently, 6 countries (Vietnam, Egypt, Indonesia, Colombia, Peru and Ukraine) are participants of this Programme. The GEIPP will be implemented till 2024 leveraging the experience of the Global Resource Efficient and Cleaner Production Programme and synergistically interacting with UNIDO and other organizations.

The purpose of the GEIPP is to demonstrate the benefits of eco-industrial parks (EIPs) in terms of increasing resource productivity and improving the economic, environmental and social performance of enterprises, and promoting inclusive and sustainable development. Bila Tserkva Industrial Park will build a logistic depot for Nova Poshta

The company will become the sixth resident of the park with an object of 4000 square meters.

Bila Tserkva, February 04, 2020. — The Bila Tserkva Industrial Park (a project of the UFuture) begins the construction of a new logistic automated depot for courier delivery of goods to the company Nova Poshta in Bila Tserkva. According to the project — the total area of the premises will be more than 3900 square meters, and the cost of the object will exceed $5 million.

The investment project provides for the creation of an innovative terminal, which will include a customer service department, office, and social facilities, and attached infrastructure. The two-story building of the logistic depot will have autonomous heating, a centralized ventilation system, and air conditioning. Commissioning will take place in autumn 2020.

We will open branches and an automated logistics depot to ensure fast and high-quality delivery for our customers from Bila Tserkva and another 80 settlements of the region. Depot capacity — 2.8 thousand parcels per hour, up to 50 people will work at the facility,» Volodymyr Popereshnyuk, co-owner of Nova Poshta, said.

The choice in favor of the Industrial Park became possible because of its advantageous location, ready-to-use utilities, and turnkey construction in accordance with the international standards of energy efficiency, fire resistance, and environmental friendliness. High-tech industrial equipment to be produced in Bila Tserkva Industrial Park

UNISET Group’s modern office, together with its production and warehouse complex, will be based in the industrial park.

Bila Tserkva, August 29, 2019 — UNISET LLC has acquired land in Bila Tserkva Industrial Park (a project of UFuture). The company will start constructing its office building as well as its production and warehouse facilities next year, with the first operational phase beginning in 2021.

UNISET’s location is best suited to the industrial park ecosystem, as it will facilitate supply chains and co-operation between residents and bring about the creation of joint projects. At Bila Tserkva Industrial Park has opened Plank Electrotechnic, Ukraine’s first plant of modern electrotechnical system

$2.8 million has been invested in the new enterprise; it will boost the development of a production cluster of 20 plants.

Bila Tserkva, April 11, 2019. – UFuture Investment Group has opened Plank Electrotechnic, Ukraine’s first plant to produce modern electrotechnical systems. The building of the enterprise meets international BREEAM sustainability standards (compliance with about 50 criteria for environmental construction). Plank Electrotechnic products are now undergoing EU certification procedures.

“We have invested $2.8 million in the enterprise and expect to return the investment within five years. The Ukrainian market is a priority, but the company plans to expand the outreach to Eastern European consumers. I believe that the development of modern technological industries is a very promising area, both from business and social points of view – it is not only profit, but also taxes and jobs,” Vasyl Khmelnytsky, the founder of UFuture, has said.

Plank Electrotechnic will produce about 4.6 million units annually and will compete mainly with Chinese and Turkish manufacturers on the Ukrainian market. This high-tech enterprise will produce electrical fittings, accessories and components: sockets, switches, mounting boxes, cable ties, buttons, etc.

Bila Tserkva Industrial Park Attracted a New Resident

LLC VOLYTSIA-AGRO will build a modern grain storage and processing complex within the industrial park. Investment in the construction could amount to $12 million.

Bila Tserkva, March 6, 2019. – LLC VOLYTSIA-AGRO has acquired a 4ha land plot in Bila Tserkva industrial park, which is a part of UFuture, and will soon start constructing a modern logistics complex for storage and processing of grain, with an indicative investment of $12 million. To maintain the new facility LLC VOLYTSIA-AGRO will create about 100 new jobs.

The first operational phase of the complex is expected to begin in 2020. Its infrastructure will include an elevator with total storage capacity of 40,000 tons and loading capacity of up to 3,000 tons per day. The elevator will be equipped with a modern laboratory, silages for wet and dry grain, and grain dryers. The complex will be able to receive and deliver grain by both road and rail transport. LLC VOLYTSIA-AGRO also plans to export its products straight from the industrial park.

We are aware of the fact that foreign investors are not particularly eager to enter Ukraine these days because of existing risks. However, there are local entrepreneurs willing to produce in Ukraine, and not only for the domestic market but foreign markets as well. LLC VOLYTSIA-AGRO is already the second resident of the industrial park. A newly built plant Plank Electrotechnic, the first in Ukraine to produce modern electrical systems, will be launched next month.
